About Mata Kamaleshwari:

In 1983, I experienced a spontaneous awakening that set me on a lifelong quest to uncover the truth I encountered that day. This journey led me to discover Indian non-dual philosophy in my twenties, and after decades of deep study and immersion, I was given the name Mata Kamaleshwari.

My path is Trika, the classical tantra system of Kashmir Shaivism, into which I was initiated as a yogini and spiritual teacher, in the lineage of Bhagwan Nityananda and Bhadrakali of Ganeshpuri, India, which has become my second home. Alongside this, I am qualified as a meditation teacher trainer, a self-inquiry teacher trainer, and a healer, and, for ten years, have held space as the founder of the Self Knowledge Sangha.

The Goddess Culture Movement is another expression of this work, a gathering place I founded for those who love and seek the Universal Mother Goddess and have not yet known where to find her. Through it, I hold circles, Navratri retreats, sacred feminine programs, and my artworks, all as an offering to her.

I’m a mystic, mum, Indiaophile, total cat lover, and lifelong artist. I’ve lived through the harsh edges of life, chronic illness, single motherhood, pain and loss and the depths of spiritual practice. I’ve come to know the sacred not as something lofty or perfect, but as something utterly real.

My artworks are like a sutra, a visual key that, with contemplation, unlocks the truth within you.
My meditation and coaching give you the tools, grit, and guidance to live from that truth in the world.

I’m here to help others walk a life-affirming path, one rooted in self-knowledge, full responsibility, creativity, and connection to the mystical. No spiritual bypassing, no fluffy clichés. Just the art of skilful being, every day.
