This work evolved through the process of painting, allowing its symbols and relationships to emerge rather than being fully planned from the beginning. The strawberry became an important feminine symbol for me , its inner cavity revealing a form that suggested the sacred feminine, it represents ripeness, beauty and the great womb. Around it, serpent, birds, celestial forms, flowers and other recurring symbols create a visual language open to personal interpretation.
