This one didn't come in meditation. I was looking at a wall and an image came into my mind of something that would look good there. So I painted it, and put Her mantra all around it..
The downward pointing triangle is the symbol of Shakti, the Goddess. Here the triangles sit one inside the other, drawing inward to the bindu, the point at the centre. The bindu is the source, where everything arises from and returns to. This is Kali's way. She takes us back to the centre.
I kept it as it is with the Devi. Raw. Perfectly imperfect. Not overly polished. Strong.
This is not for just anybody to put on their walls. But for the person who handles Her energy, this is for their home and it protects their space.
